Professional Code of Ethics that I believe are essential are as follows: 1) Treat all people with dignity and respect, avoiding any form of discrimination and harassment. 2)Uphold the highest standards of truthfulness and honesty in all professional endeavors. 3)Comply with all applicable laws and regulations. I feel that if you treat everyone with respect, are honest, and abide by the rules that you will not only be successful, but you will earn the respect of your peers. Most employers value honesty and integrity, whether they are consciously thinking about the code of ethics or not.
