36During this course, you will learn the components of a research study. Each week you will learn components of the research process through your readings and application of the knowledge gained to published research articles. At the end of the course, you will complete a review of a nursing research article utilizing all of the components of the research process.

Compare and contrast 4 peer-reviewed research articles using the PICOT question  the student will be required to evaluate the evidence found in the articles, identifying similarities, differences and overall implications for clinical practice.

What do you think are the most important leadership characteristics that support an environment of innovation. Relate these to Kotter’s change model, particularly stages 3 & 4.

Scenario: As a nurse practitioner, you prescribe medications for your patients. You make an error when prescribing medication to a 5-year-old patient. Rather than dosing him appropriately, you prescribe a dose suitable for an adult.
