Book Review The Lean Startup By Eric Ries
Question Description
Write a 1000 words book review ( I will provide the link to the book), 2 to 4 double-spaced, typed pages. Your review should include the following:
Identify the book. Include author(s), title, date and place of publication.
What is the author’s (or authors’) background? Does that background provide the author(s) with any particular perspective or point of view of which readers should be aware?
Who is the intended audience? Who does the author expect to read the book?
What was the author’s major objective (or goal) in writing the book? Did the author tell you this (in a preface, for example), or did you infer the major objective from your reading of the book? Did the author(s) accomplish the goal (stated or implied)?
Provide a brief summary of the book, including an overview of the contents and organization of the book. What were the key or over-riding ideas or arguments presented in the book?
Note: The primary goal of a book review is to evaluate the book, not to summarize it. Your summary should be less than half of your total review.
What did the author(s) use as his/her/their primary source(s) of information? Did you find the information reliable? Why or why not?
How does the book relate to managerial economics ? Does the book provide supporting evidence for theories and analysis discussed in managerial economics? Or does the author’s point of view or evidence contradict with managerial economics ?
What are the primary strengths and/or weaknesses of the book?
Would you recommend the book to others? Explain why or why not.
