Throughout the 1500s and 1600s, art held a very important role in European noble. As Renaissance humanism opened individual opportunities for education, growth, and action, a few women transcended role expectations. Women from all social categories were increasing their minds, exploring untraditional subjects. With the amount information increasing, was too the role of women within the world of Baroque art in specific respects. A society that valued commerce and therefore the growth of the center category inspired women to hone their skills and abilities.
